Your Hosts, Thomas and Tracey
Thomas of Ngāpuhi descent and Tracey of Ngāti Tuwharetoa and Ngāti Rangi descent,
are born and bred locals who have expert knowledge of the area.
They are hikers themselves and enjoy connecting with people from all walks of life,
passing on local knowledge and sharing stories of the region.
In the Winter of 2019, they purchased Manowhenua Lodge – formally known as Ski Haus.
The lodge has recently undergone a revamp to enhance and celebrate its original heritage.
